Budget Allocation for Health Care in India

The total plan expenditure incurred by the Union Government for public health for the years 2007-08 to 2010-11 is as follows:

2009-10	17636.49
2010-11 (upto 28.02.2011)	17589.84

Government has increased the plan allocation for the public health spending to Rs. 26,760 crore in 2011-12 from Rs. 22,300 crore in 2010-11 and Rs.19,534 crore in 2009-10 respectively.
