Me & my wife are subscribers for mediclaim, and somewhere along the line the agent who used to pay our premium hasnt paid them ans also he cant be contacted. I want to know if I can continue paying it myself.

after going through this site, noted that the royal sundaram helthshield plan can not be taken by an individual after the age of 55, but to my surprise i was given this policy at the age of 57 years through standard charted credit card, is it a fraud?
