Storyline : Strangers like a limo driver escorting a movie star, parents with a young son, a cop transporting a convict, a prostitute, a young couple, and a motel manager get caught up in a nasty rainstorm and get stuck at a motel in desolate Nevada. They soon get killed one by one. Tensions flare up and they realize they were in the motel for a different purpose. And yes, a psychiatrist is trying to prove one of his clients is innocent of murder at the last moment. These two through-lines are related and the movie tells you how.
