New Test for Early Identification of Tuberculosis

Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the most serious illnesses to afflict men, and is notorious for the way patients are ''wasted'' away. The long history of this infection is believed to be associated with the death of more patients than any other bacterial infection. A research team from Arizona, Texas as well as Washington DC has joined hands to put together a rapid blood test for easy diagnosis and quantification of TB, the first of its kind.
