Storyline : Red Stovall (Clint Eastwood), a musician, who suffers from tuberculosis is finally given an opportunity to make it big. He is accompanied by his young nephew, Whilt (Kyle Eastwood) to Nashville. After a series of adventures they finally reach Nashville, only to find that Red's tuberculosis has reached a critical stage in the middle of a recording session. Red finally succumbs and his nephew vows to make the story of his uncle known to the world, together with the girl he has befriended during the journey.
