Test : Antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody


Indications : Inflammation of respiratory tracts

Physiology : This test is done to asses the presence of antibodies against the glomerular basement membrane.Indirect flourescence antibody is required

Interpretation : Detection of antibodies indicates inflammation of respiratory tracts and glomerular characterised by Wegner's syndrome
