The mission of the trust is to rehabilitate the disabled persons and upliftment of the weaker section of society especially, handicapped, aged, sick etc., irrespective of caste, creed, sex or religion. The Trust is also engaged in providing artificial limbs and other orthopaedic aids/appliances and other facilities for the disabled persons. Our primary mission is to empower the physically challenged and the down-trodden so that they become capable of living a self-reliant life, full of dignity and pride for themselves and for their family.
To run centres for socio economic upliftment of the society and to provide artificial limbs (Prosthetics) and Orthotic appliances - both for upper and lower limbs, Orthopaedic Aids, Rehabilitation equipments, Hearing Aids, hospital equipments and Surgical equipments etc. To provide facilities including procurement and/or manufacturing of appliances as mentioned in (a) above, hernia truss, orthopaedic boots, spinal jackets, braces, spinal belts, flat feet arches, other supports etc. wheel chairs, tricycles including motorized tricycles, crutches (elbow as well as conventional), walking sticks and all types of Prosthetic - Orthotic, Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation appliances/aids. To provide fitting and training in the use of prosthetics and orthotic appliances/aids, logistic arrangements to the disabled and others including medical care, welfare and amenities besides preparing them physically and psychologically, through post-operative therapy, physical exercises, physiotherapy, encouraging talks and audio-visual demonstrations, also to provide technical/vocational rehabilitation including teaching of a suitable trade/hobby or a profession to make them self supporting and useful members of society. To establish, run and maintain Homes for disabled, destitutes, orphans and aged, their vocational training and rehabilitation, and to collect donations for charitable purposes. To grant aid or rnder assistance to organisations engaged in manufacture and fitting of Prosthetic-Orthotic and other aids/appliances, and to charitable institutions or trusts. To establish Prosthetic Centres and hospitals to provide treatment to poor patients by giving them artificial limbs and other appliances including medicine/medical treatments. To conduct research and development in prosthetic - orthotic appliances and other orthopaedic/rehabilitation equipments. To solicit, receive and accept donations, grants and contributions in the form of funds or services or gifts from individuals, Corporations, Firms, Societies, Foundations, Central & State Governm,ents, Gram Panchayat, Municipal Committees and other sources for pursuing the objects of the trust. To provide artificial limbs and other aids/appliances, medical relief, education, food, clothing and any other facilities to poor patients free of cost. To assist, run, take over and maintain Prosthetic Centres, hospitals, educational institutions etc. in India.
