Abnormal vaginal bleeding, which is aberrantly considered as a normal menopausal symptom, is the most common symptom of endometrial or cancer uterus!
Any of the following symptoms should prompt a menopausal woman to consult her doctor:
- Unusual vaginal bleeding which may initially be watery, without much blood, and which may later progress to more blood loss
- Pain in the pelvic region
- Painful / difficult urination
- Painful /difficult intercourse
These symptoms do not necessarily mean that the person has cancer, as other diseases too can display these symptoms. It is always better to consult a doctor and rule out the possibility of a cancer.
