Preparation:
Ingredients:
- Joy weed leaves – 2 bunches
- Mung dhal – 1
- Mustard – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Ghee – 2 tsp
- Rock salt – According to taste
Method:
Separate the leaves. Wash and chop them. Cook mung dal well by boiling it in water. Add the chopped leaves to the cooked mung dhal, along with a little rock salt. Cook for a few minutes, till the leaves become tender. Season with asafoetida, mustard and cumin seeds using ghee.

Dear sir, I read the health benefits of mint leaves. Many are not aware of this. It is amazing that it can cure digestive disorders, liver disorders, vomiting etc. I thank you sir for the information. This must be made known to the public in popular news papers or TV. I have a personal problem. I have stomach irritation, belching and regurgitation after every meal. English medicines are not very effective. Some kind of home remedy, I shall greatly appreciate.
