Fenugreek Leaves

Indications:

    • Premature loss of hair
    • Diabetes
    • Flatulence
    • Anorexia

Fenugreek leaves Dosa:

Preparation:

Ingredients:

  • Fenugreek leaves – 2 bunches
  • Wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Brown rice flour – 1 cup
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves – 3 leaves
  • Rock salt – according to taste
  • Sesame oil – 20 ml

Method:

Mix equal quantities of wheat flour and rice flour. Add cumin seed, rock salt, pepper powder, curry leaves and chopped fenugreek leaves. Mix well with water to make a batter. Spread on the tava to make dosas. Pour little sesame oil around the dosa, when it turns golden brown, turn it over to other side. After a few seconds, it is ready to serve.

The leaves may also be used to make adai, sambar, raitha, and parotta.

Dear sir, I read the health benefits of mint leaves. Many are not aware of this. It is amazing that it can cure digestive disorders, liver disorders, vomiting etc. I thank you sir for the information. This must be made known to the public in popular news papers or TV. I have a personal problem. I have stomach irritation, belching and regurgitation after every meal. English medicines are not very effective. Some kind of home remedy, I shall greatly appreciate.
