Side effects of Orthobid Gel

   Gastrointestinal : Abdominal discomfort, heartburn, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

   Central Nervous System : Headache, dizziness and drowsiness.

   Genitourinary : Blood in urine, decrease in urination and kidney failure.

Dosage & When it is to be taken (Indications)

The usual dose is 100mg twice a day.
Children: 5mg/kg of body weight in 2 or 3 divided doses.

How to use Orthobid Gel?

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.

When is Orthobid Gel not to be taken? (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcer, severe kidney, liver disease, bleeding disorders, and hypersensitivity.

Warnings and Precautions for Orthobid Gel

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of stomach problem, high blood pressure, fluid retention, elderly, during pregnancy and breast-feeding.

Other Precautions for Orthobid Gel

Avoid excess dosage.
