â€¢ Gastrointestinal :
Abdominal discomfort, heartburn, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
â€¢ Central Nervous System : Headache, dizziness and drowsiness.
â€¢ Genitourinary : Blood in urine, decrease in urination and kidney failure.
The usual dose is 100mg twice a day.
Children: 5mg/kg of body weight in 2 or 3 divided doses.
It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.
Contraindicated in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcer, severe kidney, liver disease, bleeding disorders, and hypersensitivity.
â€¢ Caution should be exercised in patients with history of stomach problem, high blood pressure, fluid retention, elderly, during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Avoid excess dosage.
Store it in cool place.
