Harmful Effect of Just One Salty Meal
We have always known that excessive salt intake can affect health adversely, but a recent insight has revealed the bad effects of just one salty meal on the heart, capable of restricting blood flow in just half hour following the meal.
According to Australian scientists, eating just one salty meal can cause the main arteries to stiffen; mere four grams of salt is all that is needed to damage the blood flow quickly, in just half hour following its consumption.

The study published in the American Journal of clinical nutrition has issued a warning that any restriction to blood flow is an early indication of heart disease.

One must be aware that the daily recommended amount of salt is six grams and consuming salt in excessive amounts is harmful to heart health.
