Others: Tendonitis, tendon rupture, peripheral neuritis, low blood glucose levels, allergic reactions, photosensitive reactions. Superinfection with Clostridium difficile can occur with prolonged use of the antibiotic
• The dose should be reduced in patients with severe kidney disease
• Avoid in patients with myasthenia gravis due to possible exacerbation of muscle weakness
• Use with caution in patients with rheumatoid arthritis due to increased risk of tendon rupture
