In the x-ray the late star's bust outline can be made out. It carries her married name of Marilyn Di Maggio.The actress, who was married at that time to American baseball star Joe Di Maggi although the couple had split and were going through divorce proceedings, had been admitted for surgery for endometriosis, a condition of the womb which caused her a lot of physical pain.
The x-ray is expected to fetch up to 1,200 US dollars at a sale of showbiz memorabilia being staged at the Planet Hollywood resort and casino in Las Vegas on June 26 this year by Julien's Auctions, reports The Telegraph.
Manager Darren Julien said: "There should be a lot of interest as it is the ultimate look into the legend."
