 Swine Flu Claims Five More Lives Across India

Swine flu has claimed the lives of five more people across the country, taking the death toll of people affected by the disease up to 15. The number of people affected by the disease has risen to 199.

According to reports, swine flu has claimed two more lives in the national capital, taking the death toll to five in the city, while 26 people were tested positive for the H1N1 virus.

Meanwhile, in Gujarat, three more deaths were reported during the last 24 hours, with 12 new cases of swine flu being reported from the state.

According to reports, a team of health experts from New Delhi had completed its assessment of the swine flu situation in Telangana and called for improving hygiene and pro-active testing of samples.

The three-member team said that it will submit its report to the Centre as soon as it returns to the national capital, adding that there is no need for panic, and stating that the number of swine flu cases will come down with the rise in temperatures.
