A hearing aid is an electroacoustic device which is designed to amplify sound for the wearer, usually with the aim of making speech more intelligible, and to correct impaired hearing. A new device developed by Denmark-based GN ReSound promises some sound relief to people with hearing loss. The ReSound LiNX2 hearing aid enables users experience direct stereo sound streaming from iPhone, iPad and iPod touch without requiring an additional pendant-like device.

Sunil Vinzanekar, managing director GN ReSound, India, a leading international developer and manufacturer of advanced and innovative hearing healthcare solutions, said, "ReSound LiNX2 is the latest step in our efforts to make hearing as natural and effortless as possible. The new spatial sense technology gives users a vivid sense of space and speech in top-rated sound quality. Available in three variants, ReSound LiNX2 range of products apply the latest and most advanced version of surround sound technology, a unique system for processing sound using advanced technologies that emulate the human ear, producing sound that is true-to-life."
