The policy is available online and it comes as a one time payable premium of Rs.444.It covers around Rs.50,000 inpatient and Rs.10,000 outpatient expenses.

Patients who are affected with dengue can go for cashless treatment at any Apollo Munich center or can claim their expenses within 7 working days of depositing their bills. People who are not required to get admitted in hospitals can claim around Rs.10,000 for visit chargers and test fees by submitting the bills.
"Our estimate suggests that a Dengue patient incurs an expense of Rs. 30,000-45,000 and the diagnostics cost 5000-10,000 based on the city you live in. It serves multiple segments of people--those who never bought a health policy but have heard about dengue and those who already have health insurance. It is a one premium plan for all ages," said Antony Jacob, CEO, Apollo Munich.
For those already with a medical insurance, they could have this as an additional package so that they don't lose their bonuses when they claim for a dengue case. It's annually renewable and is available life-long, Jacob added.
