Preparation

Ingredients

  1. Puffed barley powder – 1 spoon
  2. Puffed chickpea powder – 1 spoon
  3. Jaggery – 2 spoons
  4. Powdered Cardamom – 1 pinch
  5. Water – 2 cups

Method

Mix the ingredients well. Store it in an earthen pot. Take it after it is well cooled.

Properties

  1. Very light to digest
  2. Cooling
  3. Quenches the thirst
  4. Suitable for summer
  5. Best to cure nausea and vomiting
  6. Balances pitta
  7. Recommended in bleeding disorders
