When is Tebif Gel prescribed?

It is prescribed for -

⇨ Athletes Foot

⇨ Cellulitis

What should be the dose and frequency?

Adults: Toenail- 250 mg once daily for 12 weeks.
Cream: Local application once or twice daily over the affected skin area.

What are the common side effects of Tebif Gel

♦ Loss of appetite, nausea, abdominal pain, taste disturbances, diarrhea, hearing impairment, vertigo, rash and hives.

How to use Tebif Gel?

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with or without food.
It also comes as an ointment, cream, and solution to apply topically.

In which conditions should Tebif Gel be avoided?

Hypersensitivity.

What are the Precautions needed with Tebif Gel

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of kidney or liver disease, human immunodeficiency virus (HIV/AIDS), any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Avoid taking caffeinated beverages.

Monitor liver function and complete blood counts regularly while taking this medication.

Avoid excess dosage and avoid contact with eyes.
