Epidural: The recommended dose range is 25 to 150mg (0.25 or 0.5% solution) as single dose.
Central Nervous System :
Depression, restlessness, anxiety, dizziness, tinnitus, blurred vision and tremors.
Heart block, slow/fast heart rate and low blood pressure.
It comes as an injection and administered as epidural or infiltration anesthesia.
Contraindicated in obstetrical paracervical block anesthesia and hypersensitivity.
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of liver, kidney, heart disease, blood pressure problems, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It may cause drowsiness, dizziness or blurred vision, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
It should be administered by a well-trained healthcare provider who has experience in handling local anesthetic medications.
Normally handled and stored by healthcare providers in refrigerator.
