Nestle Celebrated Mumbai Marathon With The World's Oldest Marathon Runner

Nestlé India, which has partnered with Standard Chattered Mumbai, will see Fauja Singh as a face and symbol of '100 Years and Running' campaign. In an initiative to salute Fauja Singh’s incredible spirit, Nestlé India releases two inspiring short films titled "Running with India" featuring the 'Marathon Man'.

Fauja Singh aged 104 was an inspiration for generations, young and old. The first film was launched at the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon, which celebrates Fauja Singh, the legend and his achievements.

The latest film being launched before the Mumbai Marathon talks about his passion for the country and his excitement of running with India. In the latest film, Fauja Singh is heard saying, "I have won marathons across the world and beaten records but in India I have come to win hearts. The joy of running in India has always been different and something special which keeps me going".

On the occasion of the release of the latest short film, Mr. Suresh Narayanan, Chairman and Managing Director, Nestlé India says, “‘The Running with India' is worthy testimony to Fauja Singh's achievements as an incredible Marathon Runner whose love for the country and passion for running remains unmatched. His indomitable spirit, as an iconic 104-year old marathon runner, is representative of grit and determination that have enabled him to create consistently new benchmarks breaking all records. Nestlé is in India for 103 years and is continuing the journey with commitment, dedication and passion."

Fauja Singh is a living legend who continues to inspire people of all age groups. He has set several world records in marathon running. He is the world's oldest marathon runner and is often referred to as "Turbaned Tornado". His is an exceptional story of achieving the unachievable and a perfect example of living healthy and happy.
