The Minister for Sports, Ajay Maken, also visited the hospital and met Arunima and her family before she was taken to AIIMS. He confirmed that the complete expenses of the treatment will be borne by the Sports Authority of India (SAI).

The latest CT-scan taken at AIIMS has revealed three spinal fractures. Though Arunima's condition is still critical, she is responding well to the treatment and is on the road to recovery.
