  • Obtain egg directly from the ovary of the female.
  • Simultaneous preparation of the sperm sample obtained form the husband or donor.
  • Allow fertilization of the egg and sperm in a culture dish to give rise to an embryo.
  • Allow the embryo to undergo cleavage divisions.
  • Transfer the developing embryo into the mother’s uterus.
  • Implantation in the uterine wall and development into a normal fetus.
