Antibody: A protein complex used by the immune system to identify and neutralize foreign objects like bacteria and viruses. Each antibody recognizes an antigen specific to its target.Antigen: Any substance able to provoke an immune response in the body.
T-cells: The T-cells develop in the thymus and function in the immune system to recognize and target virus-infected cells or to stimulate other cells of the immune system (macrophages, B-cells).
Immune system: A system of the body through which it fights the effects of deleterious agents like pathogenic microorganisms and protects itself from diseases.
Cytokines: Cytokines are chemical molecules that activate and regulate the immune system.
