Side effect(s) of Alefacept

Read the side effects of Alefacept as described in the medical literature. In case of any doubt consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Serious Effects - Malignancy and abnormal decrease in lymphocytes.

Most Common - Dizziness, increased cough, muscle pain, nausea, swelling at the injection site and sore throat.

Miscellaneous - Itching, chills, cough, and accidental injury.

Other Precautions : * Avoid excess dosage.

Drug Name : Alefacept

Alefacept is a genetically modified immunosuppressive drug prescribed for treating moderate to severe chronic plaque psoriasis in adult patients who are candidates for phototherapy or systemic therapy.
