Flatulence, abdominal distension, diarrhea, pain, skin reactions, low blood sugar, increased LFT.

Dosage & When it is to be taken (Indications)

PO- The recommended dose is 200-300 mcg 3 times/day.

How to use PPG (0.2mg)?

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.

When is PPG (0.2mg) not to be taken? (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal obstruction, hernia, severe ketosis, diabetic hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation. Not to be used as single therapy in Insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM).

Warnings and Precautions for PPG (0.2mg)

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of abdominal laparotomy for gallstone ileus, Roemheld’s syndrome, stenosis, severe liver or kidney impairment, children, and elderly.

• Monitor liver function and sugar level regularly while taking this medication.

Other Precautions for PPG (0.2mg)

Avoid excess dosage.

Storage Conditions for PPG (0.2mg)

Oral: Store below 30°C.
