Pakistan - the Fourth Most Populous Nation by 2020
Pakistan would be the fourth most populous nation by 2020, according to a new survey.

According to the Pakistan Economic Survey, Pakistan will have a total population of 210.1 million in 2020.

As of June 2009, Pakistan was the sixth most populous country in the world, with an estimated population of 169.9 million at the end of June 2009.

The survey showed that Pakistan has approximately 104 million people below 30 years of age, Xinhua news agency reports.

The proportion of population residing in cities has risen to 36 percent, which is seven times higher than that in 1950.
