Three women, who underwent a procedure at a beauty centre in Hong Kong, were diagnosed with septic shock and ended up in critical condition.

The women, aged 46 to 60, sought hospital treatment after receiving intravascular infusions as a beauty treatment at a Causeway Bay beauty treatment center called DR Wednesday.
Ko Wing-man, a senior official, said the health department and police are investigating.
He said he was "shocked" by the cases, as intravascular infusion is a medical practice that should only be conducted under a doctor's supervision.
The health department has instructed the beauty treatment center to stop carrying out the procedure.
