New bedside furniture designs which help cut healthcare associated infections are now available at the NHS, and these ergonomically designed bedside cabinet, over-bed table and commode have now been given to the NHS.

Cashless medical facilities for persons insured with PSU companies are now available in 560 hospitals in four big cities and the network will be expanded to four more cities as well.

Health minister Simon Burns stated: "These four innovative and user-friendly furniture designs provide additional ways to help to reduce infections.They will make it easier for staff to keep wards cleaner and help combat the spread of infections."
