No More Spam SMS, Thanks to SMSAssassin
There is a reason to rejoice for cell phone users, thanks to the ingenuity of technology wizards from the capital of India, we can now boast of a software that can efficiently separate spam SMSes on cell phones from regular ones.

Researchers from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, have developed a software that can sift out spam messages on cell phones from regular messages. The software product is called SMSAssassin, and it employs the 'Bayesian filtering' technique to filter spams.

This software can work on mobile phones that are based on the Nokia's Symbian operating system, and it is only a matter of time when this product will be compatible on Android based phones and those that run on Windows mobile.
