New York mayor, in an attempt to improve public health, has proposed a ban on displaying cigarettes in stores.

In an attempt to reduce the smoking rate, especially among teens, New York mayor, Michael Bloomberg, has proposed a ban on displaying cigarettes in stores.

It is seen that most of the retailers display cigarettes at the cash register. According to Mr. Bloomberg, teens are an easy prey for marketing strategies and the easy availability of the products tempt them to experiment with tobacco.
