While playing for Bolton Wanderers Fabrice Muamba suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch during an FA Cup quarter-final with Tottenham Hotspurs in March. In his all new autobiography called 'I'm Still Standing' he will reveal all about his pre and post heart attack life. Miraculously, Muamba survived and spent a month recuperating in the London Chest Hospital before announcing his retirement from football in August despite his heart stopping to beat for 78 minutes on the pitch.
The book will detail his life, including his own account of what happened in that cup-tie and in the months of recovery afterwards.
Muamba tweeted a picture of the book's front cover, which shows a picture of the player lifting a Bolton shirt to reveal a t-shirt emblazoned with 'I'm Still Standing.'
"This is the front cover of my autobiography due out in November. Hope you like it have a great day and keep smiling," the Daily Mail quoted Muamba's message, which was written along the picture, as saying.
