The junior doctors finally called of the indefinite strike on Friday, demanding the arrest of RJD MLA Surendra Yadav, whose bodyguards had fired at two of the intern doctors in a Gaya hospital.

assured the junior doctors of adequate security, they finally called of the
indefinite strike on Friday, demanding the arrest of RJD MLA Surendra Yadav, whose
bodyguards had fired at two of the intern doctors in a Gaya hospital. The
CM has assured the doctors that stringent action will be taken against those
responsible for firing.
The RJD MLA surrendered before the court of
Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya, R N S Pande. He was remanded to 14days
judicial custody. The district and sessions judge had rejected his
anticipatory bail petition on Thursday. The two bodyguards, who had allegedly fired
at the junior doctors, have already been put behind the bars.
