Cancer Surgery can Ruin Sex Life
Jeffrey Archer has revealed that his sex life was ruined after his prostate cancer surgery.
The 74-year-old English author, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2013 and had a life-saving surgery to treat the disease, said that he still got the urge, but there was nothing he could do about it, the Daily Star reported.

The doctors at Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, had warned Archer of the dangers, but he still chose to risk being impotent for a shot at survival.

Archer, who had previously revealed his cancer treatment forced him into "large nappies," said that he didn't want to die of cancer.

The Tory peer received praises by health campaigners for his candid confession, and has urged other men to get themselves checked out.

Owen Sharp, chief executive of Prostate Cancer UK, said his words would help reduce the stigma surrounding the disease, and that the "frank honesty of prominent figures like Lord Archer is boosting this trend enormously."
