 Bulimia Killed Amy Winehouse
Alex Winehouse, the younger brother of Amy Winehouse has said that it was bulimia that took the singer’s life two years ago.
Alex said that Winehouse’s problems began in her teenage years when she developed bulimia. "She suffered from bulimia very badly. That's not, like, a revelation - you knew just by looking at her," Alex Winehouse told a leading daily.

"She would have died eventually, the way she was going, but what really killed her was bulimia. Absolutely terrible."

The eating disorder had weakened her immunity. “Had she not had an eating disorder, she would have been physically stronger."

Throughout her career as a singer, she also continued to fight alcohol and drug addiction as a way to cope with the pressures that came with being a celebrity.

"In the space of one evening, she'd gone from being able to do whatever she wanted to not being able to do that ever again."
