Abscess: An accumulation of pus that collects in tissues, organs or spaces inside the body.AIDS: Acronym for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, which occurs due to a severely weakened immune system, caused by HIV infection.
Cyst: An abnormal membranous sac or cavity in the body, containing fluid.
EBV: Acronym for Epstein-Barr Virus, which is a herpesvirus that causes infectious mononucleosis.
HIV: Acronym for Human Immunodeficiency Virus, which causes AIDS.
HSV: Acronym for Herpes Simplex Virus, which is a virus causing contagious sores, most often around the mouth or on the genitals.
Leukemia: Cancer of the blood cells, commonly called blood cancer.
Lipoma: Harmless growths of fatty tissue.
Lymph Nodes: Small bean-shaped structures of the immune system present throughout the body that traps pathogens and helps fight off infections.
Lymphoma: Cancer of the lymphatic system.
