How to Take Telotristat ethyl and it's Dose

• Telotristat ethyl comes as a tablet to be taken by mouth with food.
• Telotristat tablets come in a monthly case which contains 4 weekly boxes. Each box contains 7 daily doses for a week.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

• 250mg three times a day along with somatostatin analog therapy.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Telotristat ethyl is not recommended in:

• Patients with hypersensitivity or allergy to telotristat ethyl
• Children under 18 years of age

What if you Miss a Dose of Telotristat ethyl?

• If a dose is missed, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and take the next scheduled dose at the specified time.
• Do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
