How to Take Risankizumab and it's Dose


Risankizumab is to be taken by subcutaneous (injected into the fatty layer of skin) route. Patient may self-inject.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

It is available as Injection: 75 mg/0.83 mL in each single-dose prefilled syringe. The recommended initial dose is 150 mg (two 75 mg injections) to be taken at Week 0, Week 4, and every 12 weeks thereafter.
Since Psoriasis is an immune disorder, Risankizumab should be taken over a long period of time under the instruction of the doctor and one should regularly visit the doctor to ensure the safety of the medication.

What if you Miss a Dose of Risankizumab?

In case of missing a dose, administer the dose as soon as possible. Thereafter, resume dosing at the regular scheduled time after getting trained.
