How to Take Indinavir and it's Dose

It comes as a capsule to take by mouth, on an empty stomach.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

PO- The recommended dose is 800 mg 8 hourly orally.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

♦ Contraindicated in patients with severe liver damage and hypersensitivity.
It should not be co-administered with ovastatin, or simvastatin.

Drug Name : Indinavir

This medication is a protease inhibitor, prescribed for human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection in adults that slow the spread of HIV infection in the body.
