• Diethylamine salicylate cream should be massaged over the affected area.
• Over broken skin
• In patients allergic to the drug, especially if the patient also suffers from asthma.
• In patients allergic to salicylates, including aspirin
• During pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children less than 6 years of age
• In children with seizures because it contains excipients that can provoke seizures
Dosage & When it is to be taken
• The recommended dose for diethylamine salicylate is 1% or 10% w/w cream to be applied locally 2-3 times/day as needed.When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)
