How to Take Daclatasvir and it's Dose


Daclatasvir comes in the form of a tablet to be taken by mouth with food or on an empty stomach.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

The dose of the drug is 60mg to be taken once daily with food or on an empty stomach along with sofosbuvir for 12 weeks.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Daclatasvir is contraindicated in patients who take medications that can result in faster metabolism of the drug like phenytoin, carbamazepine and rifampicin. It should also be avoided by those who are allergic to the drug, along with other medications and nutrition supplements that could interfere with its effect, and during pregnancy and breast feeding.
