• The dosage is based on medical condition and response to treatment.
• If the prescribed dose is two puffs, wait at least one minute between them. If other inhalers are prescribed for use at the same time, wait at least 1 minute between the use of each medication and use beclomethasone last.
• The mouth should be rinsed after oral inhalation to prevent oral candidiasis and hoarseness of voice.
Inhalation:
• Initial dose: 40 to 80 mcg twice a day
• Maximum dose: 320 mcg twice a day
Nasal spray: 100 mcg in each nostril twice a day for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and 50 mcg in each nostril twice a day for prevention
Cream 0.025%: A thin film should be applied once or twice a day on the affected area
Lotion: Should be applied twice a day once in morning and once in night
