This medication is a bronchodilator, prescribed for asthma and other respiratory diseases. It relaxes the muscles in the airways and improves breathing.
Contraindicated in patients with fast heartbeat, abnormal heart rhythm and hypersensitivity.
Inhaler: The usual single dose is two to three inhalations.
Oral: 20 mg 3 to 4 times a day.
It comes as a tablet and inhaler to inhale by mouth, with or without food.
• Caution should be exercised in patients with history of heart problems, high blood pressure, seizures, diabetes, overactive thyroid, adrenal gland tumor (pheochromocytoma), any allergy, who are taking other medications, elderly, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• It may cause dizziness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
• Monitor lung function regularly while taking this medication.
Headache, dizziness, palpitations, gastrointestinal distress, tremor, throat irritation, nausea, vomiting, cough and asthma exacerbation.
Avoid excess dosage.
Store it at controlled room temperature (15°C- 25°C). Avoid excess humidity.
