A new study has found that women cry for at least 16 months or 12,000 hours between birth and the age of 78. The reasons include hunger during infancy to heartbreak as an adult.
Conducted by www.TheBabyWebsite.com, the survey of 3,000 people found that the reasons that a woman cries change dramatically over her lifetime.
: ''It is unsurprising that young children cry as a direct result of having accidents," said Kathryn Crawford of TheBabyWebsite. 'As a child grows older they will naturally try to do more and more - this means being more physically active and so having accidents are more common, but also pushing the boundaries and being more naughty.''
