A recent study of 3000 British women has revealed that many women spend close to 70 hours a week on household chores. Nearly 10 hours each day is spent on jobs such as cleaning, overseeing child’s studies and rituals pertaining to bedtime.

Many mothers do not get even six hours of sleep at night. Infact, they do not have even one hour for themselves each day.

Men Still Shirk From the "Dirtier" Household Chores
Australian men still tend to leave the dirtier aspects of household chores to their wives, a research has found.

Putting an estimate on the earning potential of such women by the present rate, women can earn close to £37,000 for chores such as cooking and cleaning .

Cleaning and cooking was found to take the maximum time. The study also found that that one out of six people were quite happy with life and 50% said they will be satisfied if they got atleast an hour for themselves in a day.
