Do You Want to Turn Your Brown Eyes Blue?

Do you find blue eyes attractive? Soon it would be possible to permanently change the color of your eye from brown to blue with the help of laser surgery.

Dr. Gregg Homer discovered a study that found a blue eye is beneath every brown eye. He used green laser for the surgery as its frequency is such that it passes straight through the cornea and is only absorbed by dark color, making it incredibly safe and incredibly differentiating. The procedure takes a couple of weeks to reveal the blue eye underneath.

So far there have not been any side effects on the 37 people who have had the procedure. But, ophthalmologists have some concerns about potential long-term effects, primarily, at least in theory, glaucoma.

The surgery is going through human testing in Costa Rica via Dr. Gregg Homer's company called Stroma. Researchers think that it will be awhile before the procedure is available in the U.S.
