A Healthier Diwali Treat

Swiggy has launched its new "No Added Sugar" category in ten major Indian cities ahead of Diwali, giving festive feasting a healthier makeover. Customers can enjoy sweets and desserts without worrying about added sugar thanks to the carefully chosen menu, which includes over 1.5 lakh food items from 50,000+ restaurants.

Naturally Sweet or Not Sweet at All

The category includes two simple options:
  • Naturally Sweetened – made with wholesome ingredients like dates, fruits, and purees. Popular picks include Date & Nut Smoothies, Banana Pancakes, and Fig & Almond Energy Bars.
  • Not Sweetened – for those who prefer sugar-free drinks and bites such as black coffee, green tea, and fresh juices with no added sugar.

Building on a Healthy Momentum

In keeping with its dedication to nutrition-led food discovery, Swiggy launched its "High Protein" category earlier in July 2025. All of these categories serve India's increasing demand for clean-label foods, fitness, and mindful eating.

Mindful Eating, Festive Feelings

As Deepak Maloo, Swiggy’s VP for Food Strategy, shared, the goal is to make “mindful eating simpler and more accessible”, proving that celebrations don’t have to come with guilt.

With its new ‘No Added Sugar’ lineup, Swiggy is redefining festive indulgence — blending taste with health and helping Indians celebrate Diwali with sweetness that’s smart, not sinful!
