Significant Reduction Seen in Ear Infections in US Kids
The number of children visiting doctors with an ear infection has seen a big drop in the United States over the last few years with researchers yet to find the exact reason for such a drop.
While ear infection was one of the most common cause for children visiting the doctors, the number has fallen by more than half a million over a period of last fifteen years, constituting a drop of more than 30 percent.

Though the researchers have not found the exact cause for such a big drop, the falling number of parents smoking in front of their children or the rise in breast feeding by mothers is being speculated as reasons for the drop in numbers.
