The ScottCare Corporation's new novi patch Holter monitor
will be available in the U.S. for the first time at the 2015 Scientific
Sessions of the American College of Cardiology in San Diego, Calif., March
14-16.
According to the cardiovascular solutions company, the novi
is a small, simple but advanced patch Holter recorder for use by cardiology
practices, hospitals and independent diagnostic testing facilities.
With the novi, clinicians can easily identify abnormal heart
rhythms for their patients. When
attached to the sternum the novi begins recording the ECG immediately and
automatically shuts off upon removal.
The novi records for up to 72 hours utilizing a single disposable patch
electrode that minimizes motion artifact, resulting in improved ECG quality and
more accurate analysis.
